Construction method:
一、Grassroots treatment: Before construction, the dust, oil stains, and floating rust on the steel parts to be sprayed should be thoroughly removed, and alkali resistant and rust proof primer should be applied.
二、Bottom construction method:
When applying fireproof coating to I-beams, H-beams, and rectangular steels with a width of less than 300mm, the base material should be roughened before applying the fireproof coating.
When applying fireproof coating to I-beams, H-beams, and rectangular steels with a width of less than 300mm, mesh treatment must be carried out before applying the fireproof coating. Steel mesh or metal mesh can be selected and fixed with welded steel bars or bonded insulation nails.
三、 Construction of fireproof coating
1. The construction of the first layer of fireproof coating should be carried out by adding powder: glue: water=3:1:2 (the ratio of powder to glue can be adjusted appropriately according to the construction site). The fireproof coating should be mixed with a suitable amount of glue and water, and should be applied by spraying. The coating thickness is generally below 5mm.
2. Spray the first layer of fireproof coating when it is 70-80% dry (about 24 hours later); When the bottom layer is relatively dry, water can be sprayed to moisten it before proceeding with the construction of the second layer, starting from the second layer. The construction thickness of each layer can be between 8-10mm until it reaches the fire-resistant design thickness, and the construction can be carried out by spraying or brushing.
3. During interlayer construction, the surface of fireproof coating should not be smooth, but can be made into a rough surface, which is beneficial for the adhesion of the upper and lower layers.
4. When constructing on the top of the equipment skirt and steel structure, a 30 ℃ -45 ℃ groove should be made for the fireproof coating. After the coating dries, the top of the groove must be sealed with outdoor sealant.
5. During the summer construction of thick steel structure fireproof coatings, it is necessary to prevent the coating from drying too quickly, which may cause cracking or hollowing of the coating. The coating should be properly cured in a timely manner.
Maintenance method: ① Cover the coating with plastic film to control the surface drying time. ② When scraping or intermediate layers during construction, an appropriate amount of reinforcing agent can be added, with a proportion of 5% to 8% of the powder Prevent direct sunlight from shining on the coating, sprinkle appropriate water on the coating surface to control the drying time of the coating surface, and reduce the cracking or hollowing phenomenon and range of the coating.
6. During winter construction, thick steel structure fireproof coatings should be protected against freezing and prevent the coating from freezing before it dries. The construction environment temperature should be above 5 ℃, and attention should also be paid to the construction time period.
7. Precautions:
1) The construction environment temperature should be between 5-35 ℃, and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. During rainy days or when condensation forms on the surface of components, if the wind speed is greater than 5m/s, it is not suitable for operation. Before each coating is dry, it should be avoided from rain.
2) The material should be protected from moisture and rainwater infiltration, as it will become ineffective when exposed to moisture.
Packaging and Transportation:
1. Outdoor non expanding steel structure fireproof coating. This product is packaged in woven bags lined with plastic bags, with each bag weighing 25kg. It should be stored in a ventilated, dry warehouse with a temperature above 0 ℃.
2. This product is a non combustible, non explosive, non-toxic, and non corrosive safety product for outdoor non expanding steel structure fireproof coating. Storage and transportation should pay attention to moisture prevention, sun protection, rain protection, and the use of powder that clumps when wet should not be used.
3. Outdoor non expanding steel structure fireproof coating is a harmless product and is transported as a general material. The storage time of this product should not exceed 6 months.
4. During transportation, measures should be taken to prevent rain, exposure to sunlight, and snagging, and relevant regulations of the transportation department should be followed.
